NextGenBioPest in GreenWise webinar!

NextGenBioPest was recently presented during an insightful webinar organized by GREENWISE, an Erasmus+ project dedicated to fostering young entrepreneurs in the field of sustainable agriculture. The webinar, titled "Business Planning and Guidance Seminar," brought together innovators, aspiring entrepreneurs, and industry experts to explore the intersection of environment monitoring technology and microgreens farming.

GREENWISE aims to create a holistic learning experience by equipping participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. Through the integration of modern tools like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and advanced sensors, the project provides young entrepreneurs with the skills needed to optimize growth conditions for microgreens while embracing sustainable agricultural practices.

The webinar served as a platform to highlight how NextGenBioPest aligns with GREENWISE's mission by offering innovative, eco-friendly solutions for pest management. The discussion covered the importance of sustainable biopesticides and their role in minimizing environmental impact while ensuring efficient crop production. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, NextGenBioPest showcased its commitment to reducing reliance on chemical pesticides, thus contributing to the broader goal of agricultural sustainability.

Beyond technological advancements, GREENWISE supports participants through educational workshops and mentorship programs covering essential entrepreneurial skills. The curriculum spans ideation, business planning, marketing strategies, and financial management, ensuring that young entrepreneurs gain the expertise needed to build and sustain successful ventures.

A key component of the GREENWISE initiative is its online web dashboard, powered by Django, Python, and WebSockets. This platform serves as both a real-time data visualization tool and an educational hub, enabling participants to track environmental parameters and enhance their decision-making process.

Through collaboration with projects like NextGenBioPest, GREENWISE continues to empower young innovators, fostering a new generation of environmentally conscious entrepreneurs. By merging entrepreneurship with sustainable practices, the initiative is paving the way for a more responsible and resilient agricultural sector, with long-term benefits for both local and global communities.
