NextGenBioPest at Partnerships Meeting!
On September 29th, 2026, our partner Smart Agro Hub (SAH) represented NextGenBioPest at an online partnership meeting organised by COEER, bringing the project into dialogue with other relevant initiatives and research communities.
The Value of Partnership Meetings
Horizon Europe projects rarely work in isolation. Many of them address overlapping challenges, serve the same user communities and generate results that can be strengthened when shared. Partnership meetings give projects the chance to present their work, learn what others are doing and identify where collaboration could add value, whether through joint events, shared communication, cross-project training or the exchange of tools and results.
For NextGenBioPest, taking part in this kind of exchange is an important part of its dissemination and exploitation strategy. Connecting with sister projects and related initiatives widens the project's audience, avoids duplication of effort and helps its outcomes reach the stakeholders who can use them.
Representing NextGenBioPest
At the meeting, SAH presented NextGenBioPest and its approach to sustainable pest and pathogen management, from biological control agents and RNA-based pesticides to green chemicals and AI-powered pest diagnostics. The online format allowed participants from different countries and projects to join easily, making it an efficient way to exchange ideas and explore possible synergies.
The main outcome was to interact with relevant projects, a goal that fits closely with the project's ongoing efforts to build a strong community of stakeholders and to create links with other initiatives in sustainable agriculture, including the recent synergy established with MultiSoil.
Looking Ahead
Connections made at partnership meetings often lead to concrete follow-up, such as joint events, cross-promotion and shared contributions to policy discussions. NextGenBioPest looks forward to continuing these conversations and to building lasting collaborations with the projects and organisations it met.
We thank COEER for organising the meeting and the SAH team for representing NextGenBioPest with energy and enthusiasm.
