Enhancing Food Security: Innovating Pest and Pathogen Control

Updated: Oct 31, 2024

Plant pests and pathogens have a detrimental impact on agricultural production and pose a significant threat to food security. Currently, their management heavily relies on synthetic insecticides, which unfortunately contribute to negative environmental consequences.

In our ongoing journey to address these challenges, we introduce the NextGenBioPest project.

Our Goal: To develop groundbreaking products, methods, and practices for the rational control of the most resilient arthropod pests and pathogens, all while drastically reducing the reliance on chemical pesticides.

Why is this important?

  • Safeguarding human health and well-being.

  • Meeting the increasing demand for higher crop yields.

  • Minimizing the ecological footprint by reducing chemical pesticide usage.

As we strive for sustainable agriculture, NextGenBioPest is at the forefront of innovation, paving the way for a more environmentally friendly and secure food supply.

Join us in this mission to create a healthier, more sustainable future for agriculture and food production.
